Chief Information Security Officer: Victor Carolino
Victor serves as the team’s data watchdog, overseeing strategic, operational, and budgetary aspects of RunItBack’s data management and protection. So far, he has designed the app’s database on an ERM diagram and an API-driven sequence diagram. His specific role is to identify weaknesses within existing technologies and programs, develop information security policies and procedures for the app, and work to identify, neutralize, and eliminate security threats through his extensive knowledge of RunItBack's information technology practices and security needs.
Other than developing and updating the software for RunItBack, Victor attends Loyola high school, integrating himself into the community through managing the tennis team, coding for the Robotics team, tutoring for the Ignatian Scholars, contributing to the school newspaper and magazine, participating in two podcasts, leading several clubs, and serving as an active member of Loyola’s Equity and Inclusion Office. In his free time, Victor can be found surfing or lifting.
